Volkshaus Gastronomie

Originally went to another restaurant down the street and could not read the menu so was sadly forced to move on.

After venturing down the road, myself and my grandparents came across the Volkshaus and it looked pleasing and welcoming.

After stepping inside from the cold December evening we easily found seating. Inside with us were about two or three other tables. Ordered the Burger because that's how I do Tasted great with homemade bread and the cheese was surprisingly unique in a good way. Grandparents enjoyed some noodles and a pizza. Would recommend if in the area.

Four stars because it's just not a 5 star sort of restaurant. Good selection of beer as well.

This place is clearly popular as it was packed on a Thursday evening. It is a nice atmosphere and has a good offering of food and drinks. I was told that they often have live music and play football (soccer) on a large screen, so that must by why they have such a large crowd. The people were pretty mixed, but generally a young-middle aged crowd. If this place were in the US it would probably be equal to a very popular after-work drinking spot.
