Peppered steak pie should be called Salted steak, obscene level of salt whoever seasoned these must smoke 40 a day.

Chicken chunks are rolled in chicken super noodle flavoring too.. mental. Cheap though.

I visit Birkenhead once a month or so and always head to Longton Hall Farm for lunch. They offer a fantastic chicken burger for a bargain £1.20 which is both far tastier and far cheaper than anything Kentucky Fried Budgie can offer. Other takeaway options include marinaded chicken pieces, potato wedges and the local speciality scouse. At the front of the shop you can pick up ready cooked hams, chickens and the best spare ribs I've ever bought which come in a variety of different flavours. If you fancy it they also stock pre-cooked hearts although I've always managed to resist that particular temptation. The rest of the shop is a traditional butchers selling various meat products at very competative prices. This shop is well worth a visit (unless you're a veggie of course!).
