STAY AWAY! This company came in the cheapest for a gas safety certificate and EIRC. The man that came spent exactly 30 minutes in the property for a 1 bedroom flat. Not professional or communicative. I had to chase them for any news or report 10 days later. I was told by phone that they both failed and I would need to spend £500 to change my fuse box and change a pipe from plastic to metal. To date 2 months later I have never received a report from them. I have emailed so many times but they just disappeared. This company is not reputable and at the end of the day the cheapest is not always best in the long run. Should have stuck to Open rent.

This is the worst company I have ever done business with.
The engineer turned up and didnt know which services he would be inspecting.
After pointing them out 3 days later once I'd paid the invoice - I had to call up to ask for my certificate.
It came through with just two appliances and not the gas fire which bI quite CLEARLY pointed out.
I have now been calling and emailing them every day since and been told lies and false promises about the amended certificate coming through. They now won't answer the phone to me - or reply on live chat. I have finally, after 10 days of trying at least twice a day, asked for a refund - to which the live chat went silent.

In summary:
1. Very efficient in providing a quick and cost effective quote (if notably cheaper than other providers- be warned!) WANTED FULL PAYMENT UP FRONT OF WHICH I REFUSED BUT THEN AFTER HAVING TO NEGOTIATE, SETTLED ON 10% DEPOSIT.
2. No show on date booked.
3. Had to email the same message about why they hadn't shown up 10 times to receive a response.
4. Claimed it was my fault as i wasn't in (hilarious given it was a lockdown and i work from home.)
5. After a really unprofessional to'ing and fro'ing via email. We re-scheduled. I had to prompt all the questions e.g. exact time, date. (I should have realised during this point that this was obviously not going to happen.)
6. Surprise, suprise - no show!
7. Again, loads of email sent to the 'organisation,' this time they were extremely rude.
8. They attached a photo of the front of my property (as proof that they attended,) however that's where it needed. The claimed my mobile number wasn't working, i wasn't home (AGAIN) etc etc
9. I demanded a refund of my deposit (relived i didn't pay upfront the full cost- who does that??) This is where they really showed their true intentions.....
They eventually informed me they would refund the deposit. I asked how given i hadn't provided any details and when. They randomly informed me a date (4 days later) and by BACS. This is when i knew i would never see my deposit again.

Avoid! Booked them for a Gas Safety Check and boiler service for our rented flat. An afternoon booking was confirmed but I got a call from engineer in the morning who had been given the wrong time from the company. I had already travelled part the way but the engineer had to be rebooked for another day. No apology and NO TELEPHONE CONTACT NUMBER - all communication by email. I was not happy and cancelled the boiler service and just had the gas safety check done. This was 3 months ago. Despite numerous emails I have not received a reply or a refund for the cancelled boiler service. Dreadful customer service.

Had a guy from this firm come yesterday he was supposed to come the day before but never showed up or answered his phone. He did arrive and was saying I should pay extra for an extra appliance for £15 but I had to show him that I had already paid ( up front too !) they were low priced compared to the others but I wouldn't recommend them. On the good side he emailed both the reports right away though.

Bad experience. I've been using this company for several years for my annual gas cert and I was previously very happy with them. However, this year I became suspicious that all was not well with the company as soon as I booked - I had lots of strange automated emails sent to me, their phone number was out of order, and they didn't reply to my online communication. I assumed they had gone out of business, but according to my tenants an engineer did show up - however that was the last I heard from them - no gas certificate, no communication, no refund.

I got an EPC through them. I booked two days before the inspection slot I chose. The slots are fairly small which is good (2 and a half hours). They did change the slot to the one after the one I chose which wasn't so good. The engineer did come at the time arranged. He said the certificate would take about 48-72 hours as it says on the website.
I didn't get the certificate then so I tried to contact them about it. It wasn't really possible to phone although they did respond pretty much immediately when you contact them through the live chat on the website. Having contacted them though they said that I would receive a formal reply through email but didn't get one.
The certificate arrived 6 days after the inspection. I think if I'd been given a realistic estimate of the turnaround time then I probably would have been a lot happier with the service.
They do seem to be cheaper then most other similar companies on the web but I think there is a difference in terms of levels of service because of that cheapness. All in all I think if your priority is cost efficiency then I would choose them, but if your priority is time efficiency then I think I would go elsewhere.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
