A definite favourite for presents. I'm too scared to try on the clothes because they look expensive, even though they're not extortionate, but in terms of sticking fillers, and fancy kitchen things, and books and cards, it's a great place to come.


The staff are usually dead helpful, although when I came here just before CHristmas one time and they were super busy, and I'd hammered my card and it needed phone authorisation, the till guy told me to go to the cashpoint instead because he couldn't be bothered to phone through with the queue as big as it was. Embarrassing much? Just a little. And unnecessary. But as it's Joy, I'll forgive him. This once.

They used to have one of these in Manchester but they closed it. i have no idea why as its wonderful. Lovely clothes shoes and accessories, and also an eclectic mix of cards,. wrapping paper and little gifts.

A great little shop which sells a real eclectic mixture of things, ranging from clothes and shoes, to books and gadgets. Resonably priced too and great when they have sales on which are always very good. The clothes in here are lovely and you can pick up a nice dress, something a little different for less than you would in other high street stores.

I love this shop it's one of a kind. It's very different and offers a fab range of girls fashion as well as some good girly gifts and decor. It's reasonably priced and is situated in The Light complex.

A really nice gift and clothes shop in The Light, Leeds City Centre. It's a reasonable size and nicely set out. It is full of weird and wonderful gift ideas for both males and females. There's lots of books, and small stocking filler type things to choose from. It is very unique and a great place to go to and have a browse. It also has a good collection of clothes and accessories all set out in a nice manor. It's ot cheap but it's not too expensive. I also like the bag you get when you buy something. It's easy to get to with bus stops just outside.

This shop is ideal if you want to buy someone a present that looks like you've searched the high-street high and low! I guarantee you you find something to suit everyones taste. Items range from men/womens gadgets to high quality clothing. The feel of the shop reminds me of a boudoir, with the classical furniture and the window displays. The shop can be a little pricey but 90% of the stock is reasonably priced. The store also hosts regular competitions and discounts for the customers.

A friend introduced me to the joy of 'Joy' a long time ago. I found it to be a treasure cove for unique fashion itemsI only wish they have more everywhere. Its where I got most of my outfit from.
