This little store on Yeadon High Street is a budget card and gift shop probably best suited to those who don't believe in paying huge amounts for a bit of card, or those who don't care how their greeting looks.
They have a massive selection to be fair, but the overriding theme is one of cheapness, which is fine because all the prices are fittingly low. I found myself in here in need of a last minute card for an occasion that the nearby Morrisons did not stock for, and needless to say, I found it in Best Wishes, albeit in a rather budget form. The gifts follow the same style of cheap and cheerful, which is not an issue because they are realistically priced for what they are - rather tacky.
Perhaps the best way of describing Best Wishes is the sort of place you might buy cards and gifts for your mistress, rather than your wife.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype-bruker (D4N137…)Leeds, Storbritannia25420. jan. 2009
This shop sells greetings cards and little gifts. It is quite well laid out so you can find the type of card you are looking for. The cards are of varying quality and design though I have to admit I'm usually disappointed here and find them all a bit cheap looking.
Unfortunately it is also the same with the gift item, (they are what my mother would describe as tat) on the whole and this is not somewhere I would buy many gifts. On the whole the shop is a bit low budget, but I suppose that is going down ok in Yeadon as there are alowys plent of people in there.
The prices are all low, so I suppose with the credit crunch (and greetings cards being actually quite expensive) I ought to pay this shop more custom and look a little harder as I'm sure it's packed with bargains.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
